of M33 taken Nov. 12 2005 in Hot Springs, AR with my Meade 10"
lxd55 telescope and DSI color camera. Exposure settings were short
because it was unguided. Multiple images were automatically stacked.
The resulting composite was then processed in InfoLite
software(brightness, contrast, dark tone, highlights, midtones), deep
sky astronomy software by steven s. tuma (sharpening), and coolpix to
remove background noise and correct for oversharpening.

I took this (and many other pics of this "cloud") outside my home in Colorado Springs on Dec 21st, 2004 (note the date). It formed out of nowhere from the southeast and remained in formation until after sundown. I used a digital Canon A20 on "auto" and took about 30 pics in all over a 30 minute period - where it continued to move off to the SE. Then morphed into something else. Sirius. It was taken with a Canon 5D with 17 to 40mm The Iso was way to high I think over 1000 The noise was reduced in cs2 photo shop. about 60sec exposure.

 I was setting up for the ISS Solar transit, and did my best to set up the
frame so that I could include the sunspot 963 with the ISS silhouette. The
predicted path seemed to across the disk indicated that the ISS should pass
close to the sunspot. I got everything framed, focused, waited for and
waited for the right time. At transit, I saw something flash across the
frame during capture. I opened up the AVI, scanned across the frames and was
THRILLED to see I had at leaset one frame that captured both the ISS and
Sunspot 963. Imagine my delight to later discover I captured 3 frames of the
ISS passing. Proceessed in Photoshop Contrast Enhanced, False Color,

 This is my first attempt at taking photos of the
moon and Saturn. Taken with a Kodak CX6445 through a 6" Reflector Telescope. I used a PL25mm lens with 11.2 zoom and refocused the image and this is the results.
Moon 1 is without light cover cap, Moon 2 is with 14.00 zoom with the light cover cap
on. .Saturn is with cover cap at 15.00 zoom with PL25mm lens I put them on the same image together. looks cool.

 The camera I used was Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P72. That photo was taken in Sao Lourenco do
Sul, a city of South of Brazil, next one of the biggest lakes around the world. It was taken in the afternoon when the sun was going down. It was selected for that photo the landscape mode without flash. In fact, I took several pictures at that moment and I selected this one to be added to SkyChasers page because it seemed to me the best position of the sun with the clouds letting its light passes through them.

"Rainbow Over BA Lake". The photo shows a rainbow over Alexandria, Egypt, on 12 November 2006.
The lagoon in the foreground is the pool of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.As the thunder storm continued, the rainbow grew in extent to span about 110 degrees. Magnificent anti-crepuscular rays were also visible within the rainbow, converging in the eastern horizon (the Sun was nearing to disappear in the western horizon). This time the aurora alert is strong, it does not remain has to find a place to capture it because the clouds are present in Quebec. The aurora hunter was ready this night (19 to August 20, 2006) to work in Saguenay in Quebec. My work was more than 10 hours and 700 km traversed.

 The photo I am submitting is a picture I took in my backyard (Orlando, Florida) during a dry lightning storm. I used a Kodak easy share digital camera. I kept aiming and shooting, hoping to capture some
lightning. when I checked the view finder and realized I had captured a picture of one of the most incredible shows of nature. I was ecstatic and wanted to share this with anyone willing to look at it.

Here is a shot of the great constellation Orion with it's characteristic
belt of 3 bright stars and it's Nebula - M42. This was taken from a dark
sky site 12 miles from my home on January 26th 2006 under superb
transparent skies. I used Canon 300D with a Canon EF 85mm f1.8 lens at
f4. This is a stack of 5 exposures , 4x300s ISO 400, 1x180s ISO 800,
piggybacked on a C8, 23 minutes total exposure time. I would have got
more only for the clouds rolled in again! Also visible is the flame
nebula NGC2024, M78, the 'Running Man' nebula, and a hint of the 'horse

 I took this photo while the passenger in a car crossing over the Broad River Bridge in Columbia, SC. The sun was setting over the river from the South.
The Broad River has a place called, "The River", where teens and young adults go to sunbathe on the
smooth large rocks. This place is just near the Riverbanks Zoo and you can hear the roars of the lions and screeches of the monkeys and squawks of the birds as you lay on those rocks in the Southern sun.

C-8 at 280mm f4.2 and ISO 200 (35mm equivalent settings.) This is a composite stack of 2 individual photos of 3 minutes exposure each.
Registax was used to stack the frames and some post processing in Paintshop Pro for color balance and cropping.
