skychaser_7mai06_5_f.jpg (27805 bytes)I passed a big part of the evening to check the sites of forecast of auroral demonstration. Once again it will be a game of hiding-place with the clouds. Go for the aurora hunting. This May 7, 2006 around 2 hours in the morning, I'm driving my car to travel during 80 km towards west to reach a starry sky... skychaser_7mai06_3f.jpg (38425 bytes)..... So, I waited very patiently during much than an hour in a small and dark road that I had found. The circle boreal was also thin like a simple wire but, fortunately, very long. So, this aurora widened and offered a 50 minutes of a good spectacle. My Zenitar lens had difficulty has to seize all horizon ..

The aurora hunter was ready this night (19 to August 20, 2006) to work in Saguenay in Quebec. My work was more than 10 hours and 700 km traversed.
